• Schedule Slip: The Prompt for Round 2 was published on May 21st 2021, with an initial completion deadline of July 16th. Due to a particularly busy summer for many of the competitors, a 4-week extension was granted, bringing the deadline forward to the 13th of August instead. And then another extension was granted, bringing the final deadline to September 1st; over three months from when the prompt was initially given. Thankfully the extension had paid off, with most of the competitors finishing their rounds on time.
• Tribute to Fido: Hissy Peach is based on her owners real life pet snake, whom is regularly posted about on social media.
  • Cookie from Hissy's third round is another one of their owners real life snakes.
  • The lazy cat from Eri's third round was explicitly based on the authors real life pet cat who had died the previous year.
