• B-Team Sequel: Before the Nexus was developed by Darkside Game Studios with little input from Insomniac.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: The game has been delisted from both the iOS and Google Play stores, and while it can still be played on Android if you have the game's APK file, it is completely unplayable on iOS versions 11 or above.
• Schedule Slip: The game was created as a tie-in to Into the Nexus and was intended to be released beforehand to make use of its ability to transfer Raritanium to the console game. However, Sony ended up going radio silent on the app for several months before it was finally and suddenly released in December of 2013, a month after Into the Nexus. This caused the game to quickly fall into obscurity and its cross-compatibilty to be rendered all but obsolete due to most players having already beaten Into the Nexus by the time Before had come out.
