• Creator Backlash: Apart from deleting older artwork (before creating an archive account), Northa has voiced out regret over their old work and their decision to start his art career doing personifications of the Titanic numerous times.
  Northa: Sometimes I read about things around and wonder why I thought it was a good idea to start my art making Titanic gjinkas.
• Creator's Favorite:
  • Northa's favorite personification among the ones he made is, surprisingly, Helena Müller, his FC Bayern Munich gijinka.
  • Among his ocean liner girls, his favorite has flip-flopped between the Titanic and Britannic.
• Creator's Pest: SS United States. Northa has deleted both of the SS United States drawings from his main account and went as far as to proclaim that if he were to draw her again, someone will have to pay him at least $150 to make him do so. His reaction to a user calling the SS United States "not as special" says it all.
  Northa: HOLY CRAP THANK YOU I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO THOUGHT THIS LMAO
  • It has since been implied that he will do a gijinka of the SS United States after all.
• Fake Brit: Completely averted. British artists caitlin._.art and Lacoeurdelamer voice RMS Olympic and Titanic respectively. Spotty-Paws, another British artist, has featured in Hoping for Doves as Britannic.
• Follow the Leader: The unprecedented success of his Titanic gijinka work inspired many people to take up the subject and start making their own gijinkas, with elements taken from his designs.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Northa's DeviantArt page is only a fraction of what it once was, as he has deleted a good chunk of his older work.
• Promoted Fangirl: Lacoeurdelamer followed Northa's artwork for years. She's now the voice actor for his Titanic.
• Schedule Slip: He has a track record of this, most of which are caused by health-related problems.
  • Onto Chapter 18 was going to be published September 25, 2021 but was pushed back to October 7, 2021.
  • Despite finishing the drawing on March 31, 2022, Lily & The Moon, the drawing made for the 110th anniversary of the Titanic sinking, was published on April 16, 2022, a day later than expected, due to errors in the drawing that had to be corrected from scratch.
  • A more unfortunate example would be the delay of his RMS Olympic remake; originally set to be released on October 2022, it has been pushed back due to a heart attack, then pushed back again due to another health-related issue, before finally being set to release on October 7, 2023. He did indeed release it on the promised day, a full year after the original date.
  • Health issues yet again got the better of Northa, forcing him to indefinitely postpone a drawing that was set to come out on February 24, 2024.
• What Could Have Been:
  • At one point, his gijinka of FC Bayern Munich, Helena Müller, was the most hyped new character he's ever made in a while, hyped to the point where fans constantly asked him to make give her the full drawing treatment. However, after several release date setbacks, from November 2021, January 2022, February 27, 2022^note The day FC Bayern Munich, the real-life football club Helena portrays, celebrates its 122nd anniversary., and finally October 31, 2022, the full drawing, and the character itself have been indefinitely shelved and have essentially been retconned from Northa's character lineup. He cites not wanting to let the anticipating crowd down as the reason for her drawing being pushed back several times, although it has become a bit of a Running Gag since, with his Tumblr page acknowledging that people would ask for when she'll get a full painting. A real shame, considering that she was his favorite gijinka at one point in time.
  • Because of the constantly changing design of Northa's gijinkas, some features on his characters have been bound to fall into this category. For one, Titanic was going to have her bridge worn on her head like a crown, as seen in The Empty Hourglass. She was also going to have an extra translucent blue shirt as seen on Unsinkable.
  • A rather brutal and gory drawing involving the Olympic with her eyes shot out was set to come out back in 2018, but was cancelled because it felt too graphic at the time.
• Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things: Northa's Titanic gijinka series is a major example of this. The massive success of the series has caused the work to be noticed by a demographic mostly in it for the fanservice while treating the Titanic as some sort of fun topic for original characters rather than a serious event in history to the point where Northa has his work stolen and copied several times for the lighthearted fanservice intentions associated with most other creators who have done similar work to Northa in the past, which in turn led him to be the main point of harassment by the Titanic community accusing him of the very same reason. As a result of this, Northa has questioned his decision to start doing Titanic work in the first place, outright quitting it all together in 2019 before returning in 2020 and has then since contemplated quitting for a second time several times, although his current partnership with smolnoodlekitty probably changed his mind from wanting to quit.
