- Adaptation First: There's an English version of the cartoon, but not the toys it's based on. It's unknown which countries aired the English dub, but this trope applies to any that did.
- Follow the Leader: The original virtual pets are Tamagotchi wannabes, plain and simple. Oddly enough, since they released before the Tamagotchi franchise started making a sort of comeback worldwide with the release of the Tamagotchi Meets/On in 2019.
