Trivia / Murder in the Alps

• Acting for Two: Some characters noticeably share the same voice actor. While at least two characters have been confirmed to share the same voice actor by the game's social media accounts, other characters are not confirmed but very clearly have identical voices.
  • Ulli and Manu in Part 3 share the same voice actor, Sam McGovern, which is confirmed by the game's social media accounts.
  • Dierk, Gustav, and Max in Part 3 share an identical voice if you listen closely enough.
  • Iris in The Dada Killer and Ladies of the Night and Georgette in Forgotten Memento in Part 3 also share an identical voice.
  • Sven throughout Part 3 and Francisco in Forgotten Memento in Part 3 also share an identical voice.
• Dummied Out: Few unused content can be found in the game. For example, in Forgotten Memento, after Anna knocks Oskar out in her cell with a chair, Oskar apparently was meant to say "The loneliness of life shadows every one of my steps..." followed by "There is no escape, Miss Myers." before Anna then says "Go to hell, psycho." In the final version, Oskar doesn't say anything after getting knocked out.
• The Other Darrin: Some characters, especially reoccurring ones, of Murder in the Alps have had their voice actors changed due to the amount of real-life time that spanned between their previous appearances and their new appearances. For example:
  • Otto's voice actor noticeably changed between Atlantic Connection and Dancing with the Beasts, which had a 2 year gap. Otto's former appearances had a softer voice compared to his most recent appearance.
  • Professor Clark's voice actor also changed between The Phantom and Dancing with the Beasts, which had a 2 year gap. Clark's former appearances also had a softer voice compared to his more recent appearance.
  • Silvia's voice actor changed between The Heir and The Dada Killer, which had a 3 year gap. The former voice actor is noticeably more aggressive and sharper compared to the new voice actor.
  • Gerhard's voice actor also changed between Atlantic Connection, Exiled Dead, and Forgotten Memento, which had a 1 year gap and 4 year gap respectively. The voice actors all clearly sound different from each other.
