  • Approval of God: There are numerous fan podcasts that Harloff has given his blessing to and that he listens to regularly. This also applies to the numerous fan leagues.
  • Contest Winner Cameo: Jader "The Hurricane" Paramo won the opportunity to compete on the show after winning a four-way fan match at the Orlando Live Event. Having won his first match, he's appearances will certainly amount to more than cameos now.
  • Doing It for the Art: Though every competitor on the show is paid, many of them are incredibly passionate and spend hours upon hours outside of matches preparing for the show out of their love for the game.
  • Early-Bird Release: During a week in which two matches drop, they are publicly posted on YouTube on Thursday and Friday, but Patrons receive the first of those matches on Monday or Tuesday. Additionally, depending on what tier a Patron is at, they will receive the exhibition matches earlier than other Patrons. Though the exhibitions are generally Patreon-exclusive, some of them have been posted publicly long after their initial releases.
  • Fake Brit: Devon Stewart portrayed one as part of the Kingsmen.
  • Promoted Fanboy: Many competitors who were fans of the show before competing qualify, including Late to the Party, Jeannine the Machine, Chance Ellison, Rachel Silvestrini, Paul Oyama, Kevin Smets, Robert Parker, and several others.
  • Series Hiatus: Downplayed in light of COVID-19, as the show is unable to shoot until California reopens, but has begun recording remote virtual matches to satiate fans' appetites for new matches.
  • What Could Have Been: Harloff has discussed numerous potential developments for the show over the years that were scrapped or would have occurred if certain matches had different outcomes:
    • Had DC Movie News defeated Team Action, Kalinwoski would have still turned heel, but Gertler and Loquasto would have turned heel with him.
    • Had Murrell defeated Ghai at the second Collision, he would have faced off against Levine for the second time at the following live event. Harloff's exasperated look during Ghai vs Murrell has been described as him watching his plans for Murrell vs Levine II evaporate into thin air.
    • Had Who's the Boss defeated the Shirewolves at Spectacular III, Wolfe would have turned heel and abandoned Cushing.
    • Storyline-wise, had the Founding Fathers lost to Korruption at the Orlando Live Event, Rocha would have split up the Founding Fathers and abandoned the Five Horsemen. However, in real life, Rocha has stated that he would have flat-out retired if they lost.
