• Schedule Slip: The updating process can take quite a while due to its sheer length and constant beta editing. Updates for each chapter often require a minimum of several months. Editing alone can take a minimum of one month and, at worst, years.
  • The most extreme example was Chapter 10, which released five years after the previous chapter.
  • The author ported the story to Archive of Our Own in March 2020, complete with a new chapter. Another chapter posted there a year later, and another one the year after that. The FFN version hasn't been updated since June 2019; it's not clear when or if the newer chapters will be added there.
