Trivia / Minecraft SOS

• Ascended Fanon: A cross-series instance; any and all references to Jimmy having "the Canary Curse" (i.e. being the first to die, usually permanently) or being associated with the bird in general originated from the Life SMP fanon.
• Inspiration for the Work: Pix's giant dig project is lifted wholesale from the sci-fi short film Solstice-5.
• Official Fan-Submitted Content: Most of the titles in Sausage's Lore-Brary (Lore Library) are suggested by various YouTube commenters on his 10th episode.
• Tribute to Fido:
  • At the start of Sausage's 5th episode, he introduces a new cat he tamed, "Queen Jellie", whose likeness was based on GoodTimesWithScar's pet cat Jellie that sadly passed away earlier in 2024.
  • In Shelby's 6th episode, she similarly names one of her cats 'Jellie', as based on her late real-life counterpart, and her black cat 'Star', after her own real-life cat.
• Working Title: The series was known as "FSMP" before the creators settled on the current title of "Minecraft SOS". The item IDs for the server-exclusive Fate Coins also identify the server as "fWhip SMP", presumably as a placeholder name.
• You Might Remember Me from...: Since this is the Minecraft Multiverse we're talking about, for everyone's sanity, this section is restricted to the most recent major series.
  • A vast majority of the cast are returnees from Empires SMP Seasons 1 and 2, with Oli only being present in the latter season, though he makes a cameo in Lizzie's musical adaptation of Season 1. Owen and Eloise make guest appearances in Empires Season 2, with the former playing his llama character and voicing Hermes as an adult, and the latter voicing Sausage's dog Bubbles.
  • As well as the SOS server, Joel is currently a member of Hermitcraft Season 10 and splits his time between both series.
  • Members of the server who were part of the Pirates SMP cast include Eloise, Owen, Sausage, Scott, and Shelby.
