• Port Overdosed: And then some. Perhaps the most ubiquitous computer game of the 1980s. It's really hard to name a platform that cannot play Lode Runner.
• What Could Have Been: Lode Runner 2 has two entirely scrapped worlds that never made it to the full release: A Mall World, and an Alien World. It was also speculated that collecting all of the donut-shaped artifacts in the main 5 worlds could have unlocked these secret worlds.
• Working Title: Smith called his earliest versions Kong and Miner.
