  • Black Sheep Hit: "Perfeição" has become this to O Descobrimento do Brasil, a spoken word, drum machine-driven protest song in an otherwise introspective Lighter and Softer album.
  • Executive Meddling:
    • Narrowly averted with "Será", the lead single of their self-titled debut. EMI was hesitant in pushing the song due to it's unconventional structure and requested the band to re-record it in a more pop format. Producer José Emilio and engineer Amaro Moço attempted to remix it in post with unsatisfying results, leading to the band releasing the song on its original format.
    • It actually happened with Dois, since it was originally planned to be a double album, but EMI was against the idea, which led to a few the songs that were planned for the sessions to be released on the subsequent release Que País É Este.
  • Troubled Production:
    • Their Acústico MTV note  concert took an uphill battle to materialize. The Unplugged series has just arrived in Brazil and the band chose that avenue to promote their fifth album V due to their reluctance to create music videos for it. However, the band started to postpone a few times as they weren't on board about the changes they had to make on how they had to do live for the program and they wanted to know how much information about it before they were actually on board to do it.
    • A Tempestade suffered heavily from this as well, due to Russo's health deteriorating. He also only recorded the vocal guide takes for most of the album and refused to record different takes for them according to artistic director Jorge Davidson. Also due to his health complications, he was absent for most of the studio sessions, leaving Dado, who was taking the producer role at the time, to give the updates of the album progress via telephone. And on top of that, Russo disapproved of the direction the band was taking, being quoted at one point that "the only thing that was good there was the click of the metronome". According to Bonfá, he didn't stay in the studio longer than was necessary, as the atmosphere there was depressing.
  • Working Title: Mitologia e Intuíção for Dois.
