• What Could Have Been: There were plans to make this into a movie in 2005 as a sequel to The Last Detail that would have seen Jack Nicholson and Randy Quaid reprise their roles as Buddusky and Meadows respectively and Morgan Freeman as Mulhall (since his original actor, Otis Young, died in 2001).
