- Cross-Dressing Voices:
- Tuff and Spikehead are the only male children to be voiced by female actresses like in the original and English dubs of the Kirby anime. Kirby (outside his inner thoughts), Fololo and Tokkori are a part of this trope as well.
- Some adult male characters are voiced by female actresses, such as Escargoon, Dr. Yabui and Mr. Curio.
- Averted with Escargoon's mother in episode 6, where she is voiced by a female actress, like in the original Japanese dub, instead of a male actor in the 4Kids dub.
- Out of Order: The series doesn't have the same order of episodes as the original and English dubs.
- Screwed by the Lawyers: Episode 36 had to be filtered to prevent it from being taken down by Nintendo.
