• The Other Darrin: Beginning with this episode, George Newbern takes over the role of Superman from Tim Daly for the remainder of the DCAU. According to Bruce Timm, the recasting was unfortunately necessitated by scheduling conflicts.
  Timm: When we started Justice League, Tim Daly was in the middle of doing The Fugitive. In fact, even toward the end of Superman, Tim was so busy doing on-camera gigs that it was a challenge getting him into the recording studio. It was easier recasting the part, and George Newbern does a great job as Superman.
