Trivia / Jane Eyre (1970)

• Dawson Casting: Susannah York was 31, twelve years older than Jane and the oldest actress to play the main character to date.
• Missing Episode: The original master tapes are lost, making a re-release unlikely. There has been an official restoration of the John Williams soundtrack, however.
• Promoted Fanboy: It was revealed in some interviews that Susannah York is a fan of the novel and once admitted that she watched the 1943 version of the same title while in the middle of shooting. She also gave some commentaries about the actors in later adaptations.
