• Accidental Downer Ending: The Stinger shows that a metal globe in space hurtling towards Earth is about to crash into the main family's house, followed by To Be Continued text. A sequel was never made.
• Bad Export for You: Two of the minigames were removed in the English version because they relied too much on kanji.
• Colbert Bump: Gained some popularity after being featured on Game Grumps. They did a full playthrough of it over 10 years after doing a partial playthrough.
