• Creative Differences: One of the contributing factors as to why Abbath left Immortal. That and ya know, the copyright of the name.
• Creator Backlash:
  • Abbath did eventually describe "The Call of the Wintermoon" as a mistake that the band, as youths (Abbath in particular was still 18), let get rushed through production; it was filmed in just two hours and shown on television immediately after it was edited that day. Even during its first airing (a frame of which still seen in the version circulated on the Internet) did it get mocked by the presenter.
  • They've also openly regretted calling their second album Pure Holocaust.
• The Pete Best: Immortal started out with two guitarists. One was Demonaz, the other was Jörn Tonsberg, who got kicked in 1991 and subsequently went to form Hade Almighty. Then there were also all drummers prior to Horgh's arrival (arguably except for Hellhammer).
