- Dueling Shows: Ran against Bargain Hunters, ABC's attempt to cash in on the home shopping craze. That one was basically what would happen if The Price Is Right aired on QVC instead; after each bargain-themed pricing game, they would offer one of the prizes they just gave away to the home viewers. There was also Shoppers Casino, which appears to have debuted the same week Home Shopping Game left the air. That one had contestants play casino games for various prizes, but done with such a poor budget you'd be forgiven for thinking it was public access.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Six episodes circulate from their original airings, including the first two. With the heavy emphasis on home shopping and visible 800 numbers, don't expect it to rerun anytime soon.
