• Blooper: Gladys opening the door to Jeffrey's chalet is visible when the scene is outside, but once the scene changes to inside the chalet, she opens the door once more. This has been edited out in repeat airings.

  • On BBC Two, the following is removed: An accidental crash zoom into Mrs. Fairbrother, Ted telling Spike about last year's comic's bad ears, three seconds of Spike shutting the door on the train, Ted showing Spike their wardrobe and realising he needs to pinch some more curtain rings from Jeffrey, Ted's line "Not your style, eh, Fred?" on the topic of Fred's worn-out horses, Yvonne calling the Tannoy announcements "common", Ted giving the campers a third "Hi-de-hi!", a clunky audio edit between the audience laughter and applause at the end of Ted and Spike saying goodnight, and Gladys opening the door to Jeffrey's chalet (to hide the continuity error that she opens the same door twice). Also added throughout the episode are extra laugh tracks to emphasise the jokes (the same had been done to episodes of Are You Being Served?, circa 1998).
  • The 2003 DVD has no changes but adds a superimposed episode title (with font not matching anything else in the series).
