Trivia / Gundam Sentinel

• Screwed by the Lawyers: Sentinel content is rarely featured in spinoffs despite how influential it was on Gundam as a whole due to copyright conflicts between Sunrise and Model Graphix magazine's publisher.
• What Could Have Been: Incomplete sprites for mechs from this series can be found in the discs for the second and third Super Robot Wars Alpha games. Prior to the discovery of incomplete sprites on the disc for Alpha 2, it was believed by some fans that Sentinel was discarded in favor of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, which at the time Alpha 3 was released, was at the height of it's popularity - while Takanobu Terada, the current series producer, has all but confirmed that SEED's inclusion was an executive decision, the discovery that Alpha 2 had the sprites as well nixed that belief.
