• Creator Backlash: Stine has gone on record saying this is one of his least favorite entries in the franchise.
• What Could Have Been: The original script of the TV episode just ended with Todd being taken by the fish as Danny jokes they'll throw him back for being too small. The Goosebumps Presents book is similar although cuts out Danny's joke. In the final episode, Todd has voiceover that reacts to the fish, saying they said they'll let him go, but he has to swim back.
