• Author's Saving Throw: The fan fork's re-release as Enclave Reborn Redux addresses concerns that the Reformer Enclave got excessively whitewashed despite being the remnants of a genocidal regime, and were potentially allowed to get away with everything by turning over a new leaf without being held accountable by anyone for their past. In Enclave Reborn/Enclave+, the most this was addressed was an event to either expose the genocidal goals of the Richardson Administration or keep it hidden indefinitely, with the former choice reducing your legitimacy to zero but ensuring that future generations learn from the sins of the past and prevent something like the pre-war US government or Vault-Tec from ever emerging again, and the latter choice implying that the newly restored US falls slowly back into pre-war fascism in an attempt to cover up the truth. Both outcomes were only touched upon in the epilogue. Following the re-release, the mod offers an event chain where the player can choose the fullest extent of how much the Enclave's crimes can be exposed, ensure that all surviving perpetrators of Enclave atrocities and those complicit in it via passivity are brought to account, and the victims of both the Enclave and Vault-Tec receive reparations, with the outcome of the event chain impacting the future of American democracy.
