Trivia / Dragon Ball — The Heart of Adventurers

• Black Sheep Hit: Even moreso than The Erased Chronicles, neither of the co-authors expected the Heart of Adventurers to take off in the way it has. It was their first true group project, and it has taken off like wildfire in a very good way.
• Creator's Favorite: Motherfucking Raditz. This holds true for both authors, as Raditz has become one of the most consistently written characters in the fanfic (for starters, the fact that he was Spared by the Adaptation as early as the tenth chapter, and has since only been a major focus of the series, rivaling Gokū and Bulma, the two actual protagonists.) Also, on Demod20s side, Jaco is his personal favourite, while LastationLover5000 leans in towards Freeza.
• Extremely Lengthy Creation: The Heart of Adventurers has been going for four years, is currently over 20 chapters long, and has not even covered half of what the second half of the Dragon Ball manga has to offer. The story's bi-monthly release schedule (as opposed to The Erased Chronicles monthly release schedule) has certainly only made it take longer.
• Writing by the Seat of Your Pants: In true Dragon Ball fashion, too.
  • Both Raditz and Nappa surviving the events of the Saiyan arc was not initially planned; both were planned to die around similar times when they did in canon. Raditz's survival has catapulted him into both of the authors' favourite character to write, compared to his non-existent involvement in the original series.
