- Outdated by Canon: The fanfic portrays the half-hylian and half-gerudo Mina as a mash-up of her parents features. Breath of the Wild suggests that gerudo offspring always look 100% gerudo. All gerudo are mixed but they're still considered full-blooded gerudo and not mixed-race.
- Word of God states that it's important to the plot that Mina looks part Hylian. Gerudo genetics are also a theme in the author's other works so this is more of a purposeful deviation.
