• Orphaned Reference: The leaked build's dialogue contains multiple references to concepts that were cut in development. For example:
  • With Fox McCloud being a Suspiciously Similar Substitute to Sabre, there are still plenty of references to Sabre in the build, especially in the subtitles. Several of these references still refer to Randorn as his father, rather than James McCloud.
  • The subtitles in Garunda Te's speech indicates that there were initially five Spellstone Guardians, even though the voiceline and cutscene refer only to four.
  • Krystal wonders how General Scales survived falling off the galleon. In an earlier build, Scales indeed fell off the galleon after being struck by lightning; however, in the leaked build, he simply teleports away without ever falling.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Instead of a fragmented planet, Krystal and Sabre would have traveled to eight separate worlds. Especially notable are Eridal (Drakor's homeworld as a Kamerian) and Kalenimak (the Krazoa homeworld.)
