- Lying Creator: The author stated that he would not include characters or elements from DmC. In the preview for "Devil Trigger: Mission 2", both DmC Dante and Vergil make an appearance and are the central focus for a future arc.
- What Could Have Been:
- Arc 2 was originally going to be called "Bury the Light," named after Vergil's Leitmotif in Devil May Cry 5. In the fanfic proper, Arc 2 is called "Style".
- According to SkyRig, the original plan proposed by his unnamed co-writer was to have Aster Anders be kidnapped by the Fallen. SkyRig vetoed the idea, citing Purity's infamous rampage in Worm proper when Coil leaked the identities of the entire Empire cape roster. They compromised and settled for having Theo be kidnapped, leading to Kaiser threatening all-out war with the Fallen unless he gets his son back.
