- The Leonardo vs. Raphael match from the CGI film is mentioned at the end of the episode. Although Raph won in the canon movie, it was discounted for the Death Battle for several reasons:
- Leonardo didn't want to win in the canon; in Death Battle, all mental reservations are ignored.
- The canon fight was a solo battle; Death Battle was not.
- Leo won the fistfight beforehand in the canon movie.
- Leo had a chance to kill Raph in the canon fight, but obviously didn't go through with it; were it a Death Battle, he totally would have.
- Raph was wearing body armor.
- It was plot constructed, which is normally inaccurate anyways.
- It was a stupid movie anyways, at least according to Wiz.
