• The Danza: Haruaki's classmate Kana is voiced by Kana Asumi.
• Troubled Production: When author Hazuki Minase met with his editor to discuss the first volume's draft, it took them seven hours to find an agreement about how much eroguro, serious plot and comedy it would feature. It was reportedly the longest meeting of the like in the history of the publisher.
• What Could Have Been:
  • The original title was going to be Box-Shaped Fear (Hako Katachi Osore, with fear being rendered in Japanese), which was later changed to Girl Cube (Shojo Rippotai), before finally becoming the current title.
  • In the author's original plans, Fear adopted a box-like machine form whenever fighting, but his editor found this too unmarketable and convinced him to leave her fight in human form.
