• Died During Production: Erick Sermon of EPMD said that Craig was nearly finished working on a comeback album with him before he passed away. Sermon says he's still finishing up the masters, but when (or if) the album comes out is anyone's guess.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Both of Mack's albums are now out of print. Subverted with the song "Flava In Ya Ear", as it pops up in Bad Boy compilations every now and then.
• What Could Have Been: He's allegedly the reason Nas refused to sign to Bad Boy Records. Exactly what happened between them, nobody knows for sure.
  • Mack was going to be featured on Biggie's Ready To Die, but attitude problems and rumored beef between the two kept it from happening.
    • Ironically, he was featured on Biggie's posthumous album Born Again, on the song Let Me Get Down.
  • One can only wonder how Craig Mack's career could've turned out if Bad Boy had kept their faith in him instead of shifting all their attention to Biggie.
    • Speaking of which, he had apparently re-signed with Bad Boy in the early 2000s with a brand new album in the pipeline. Obviously, the album has never seen the light of day, if it was even recorded at all.
