• Blooper: Andy says that Skye's apartment is on the ground floor. However, the Transamerica Pyramid can be seen through the window, indicating the location is not on the ground floor.
• Completely Different Title:
  • French: "L'homme de mes rêves" (Man of my dreams)
• Creator Backlash: Holly Marie Combs hates this episode, to the point that on her Charmed rewatch podcast House of Halliwell, she openly says she begged the other two to just skip this one. She hates both the B-plot of Piper being uncharacteristically man crazy, and thinks the effects don't hold up (partly because they weren't being given enough money from the studio).
• Out of Order: "Dream Sorcerer" was the third episode produced, but aired fifth. This creates a minor inconsistency, where Prue is said to be 27 in this episode, but later her birthdate is seen as 1970. "Dead Man Dating" was produced afterwards but aired before "Dream Sorcerer", and featured Prue's birthday, presumably turning 28.
