• Keep Circulating the Tapes: You have it hard to find any of the series, because tape releases were incredibly rare, and it is actually unknown if they released the entire series beyond some compilation movies. It is specially grave in Spain, where the first series is pretty much lost, excepting some episodes randomly uploaded by TuCasaTV in YouTube.
• No Export for You: While the series has been released in the United States, it has only ever been aired on the Spanish-language channel Univision, meaning there is still no proper English localization.
• Referenced by...: In the Italian translation of World of Final Fantasy, the bestiary description of the Black Chocochick (who, as Calimero, is a black-feathered chick wearing a cracked eggshell on the head) features explicit references to Calimero, mentioning that "everyone picks on him because he's small and black" and commenting that such thing "it's an injustice, it is!"
• Role Reprise: While most of the Italian voice cast was changed for the third series, Elda Olivieri reprised her role as Priscilla from the second series.
