- Hostility on the Set: A personal conflict between Daydreaming Birdie and the composer of the show's original theme song resulted in Daydreaming Birdie cutting ties with the composer, forcing the composition of a new theme song, with LastyGhost authoring it. When LastyGhost's theme was test-placed over the original opening sequence, it was unsuccessful, forcing the creation of a new opening sequence. Both the new theme and the new sequence debuted in episode 4.
- LastyGhost herself had a falling-out with DDB that lasted from December 29, 2022 to February 16, 2023. As a result of this conflict, the original version of CRiTORA: Abnormal was canceled in favor of an entirely new iteration.
