• Technology Marches On: A major draw of the comic is seeing storylines from a 1997-2003 TV show retold using modern technology that didn't exist at the time like high-speed wireless internet, smartphones, social media, etc..
• What Could Have Been: According to writer Zac Thompson, the events mentioned in Angel's Anti-Climax entry were meant to be drawn out a bit more and used as the end of a first story arc, and there were plans to "make some subtext into text" (heavily implied to be the Angel/Spike relationship) and "reimagining some of the tenants of the Angel world".
