• Recycled Script: This Michael Landon-penned script was reused for the Season 8 Little House on the Prairie episode "He Was Only Twelve," with Landon's character in that series, Charles Ingalls, filling Roscoe Lee Brown's role as the revenge-seeking father looking to bring a criminal gang to justice. The major difference between scripts is that the boy who was shot — James Cooper Ingalls (played by Jason Bateman) — is merely comatose throughout the episode and does not die.
