• Channel Hop: Howl and Baby 81 were released on RCA after being dropped from Virgin past the release of Take Them On, On Your Own. By the release of Beat the Devil's Tattoo, the band was on the independent label Vagrant Records and has remained there ever since.
• Saved for the Sequel: "U.S. Government" is one of their earliest songs and was originally recorded during the B.R.M.C. album sessions, being planned as a B-Side but ended up being cut out of respect for the people affected by The War on Terror. It was later released in the tracklist for their sophomore album Take Them On, On Your Own.
