• Bury Your Art: Microsoft pushed Azurik hard during the Xbox's launch, thinking that it would be the system's Killer App. However, the game sold and reviewed poorly, and ended up grossly overshadowed by Halo: Combat Evolved, which went onto start Xbox's Cash-Cow Franchise while Azurik fell into obscurity. It's worth noting that, in spite of Microsoft's emphasis on backwards compatibility, Azurik is not available for any subsequent Xbox consoles via Digital Distribution or backwards compatibility.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Its middling reception and very low financial success, coupled with having its thunder stolen by Halo, resulted in the game never seeing another re-release. Hell, newer Xbox systems can't even play it despite the push for backwards caompatibility.
