  • Creator Breakdown: Josh Phillips went through progressively worsening states of depression not long after the comic launched, and thus, the planned four-year series dragged on for much longer due to several hiatuses.
  • Schedule Slip: The comic suffered through this during the final year of its run due to Josh Phillips going through problems in his personal life. In 2006, he posted the last strip, and after spending the following year not updating once, Phillips ultimately retired the series and wrote out a synopsis of how the ending would have played out.
  • Series Hiatus: The comic went on multiple hiatuses that lasted for at least a few weeks on end. Ultimately, due to a loss of motivation, other obligations in his personal life taking away his time and attention, and struggles with his mental health, he wrote out a summary of the planned conclusion in order to wrap up the story in some way.
