Trivia / Asterix the Gladiator

• First Appearance:
  • This story features the first appearance of the pirates. This is evident from the fact that they eagerly attack a ship that clearly has Asterix and Obelix on board, since they don't know the two Gauls yet. In every album afterwards, they will (unsuccesfully) try to steer clear of any ship that might have the two Gauls on board.
  • Brutus also makes his debut in this story.
