Trivia / Ars Magica

Go To

  • Divorced Installment: An unusual example in that Ars Magica was originally its own thing, but Old World of Darkness is a spinoff of this game and Third Edition was part of the WOD cosmology. However, Third Edition was not well-received (see Dork Age under YMMV for why) and when Atlas acquired the license, they split the two games apart again.
  • Exiled from Continuity: Inverted. Ars Magica and the World of Darkness are not in continuity anymore or even owned by the same company, but concepts such as the Order of Hermes and the Tremere appear in both lines. Atlas and White Wolf don't fight over it.
