  • Artist Disillusionment: Why Danny Tunker left. By the end, he was badly burned out from their heavy touring schedule (as while he had had some touring experience with previous bands that he had been in, he had never been in anything with a touring cycle as relentless as Aborted's from 2012 to 2015) and was frustrated with his inability to do much of anything on his own musically because he simply didn't have the time. His last show with the band in the US largely reflected his feelings on his membership with the band by the end, as he fought with his amp and had pervasive technical problems for the entire set, and after he broke a string during the last song, he unplugged his guitar and walked off in the middle of the song, and to add insult to injury, the band stopped at a nearby Denny's later that night and experienced a multi-hour wait while drunk and/or high patrons passed out around them. While he was going to leave either way, that particular night definitely did not help.
  • Career Resurrection: While they had become a name by Goremageddon, the divisive nature of The Archaic Abattoir and the poor reception of the following two albums (along with their unstable lineups) had given the impression that they were an over-the-hill band with one great album and a good album that was too busy chasing trends instead of sticking to what they did best, and most fans were willing to accept that their best days were behind them. Coronary Reconstruction did a good job at rejuvenating interest in the band, however, as did the positive reception of Global Flatline, and The Necrotic Manifesto helped convince people that it wasn't a fluke and they were truly back in action, which Retrogore finished establishing. People who got into Aborted post-Global Flatline will generally forget that, prior to 2012, they were generally regarded as a third-tier band rather than the major figure in modern death metal that they had become.
  • Creative Differences: Why Harrison was fired in 2021; while he was a very skilled guitarist, his writing style was not compatible with the band's own, and he was also not getting along with anyone and the rest of the band had come to view his hiring as a mistake well before he was let go of.
  • Creator Backlash: Sven is not fond of Slaughter & Apparatus and truly hates Strychnine, and neither album has had a presence on their live setlists for a decade or more.
    • He also revealed in a 2021 interview that he isn't too fond of their first album The Purity of Perversion. While he doesn't hate it, he stated that he wasn't happy with the production quality due to them being on a tight recording budget at the time, and revealed that he was actually sick when he recorded his vocals for it, which he explicitly said "sounded like shit" in his view. He then said that if he could rerecord one of their records, it would be that one.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Their first album The Purity of Perversion is not available on any digital music stores, and buying a legitimate CD copy can cost up to a hundred dollars.
