• Ascended Fan Nickname:
  • Squidward is often referred to as "Loudward" due to his loud voice. Since users can suggest topics for the stream, it was only a matter of time before the name "Loudward" was used in-universe.
  • Other fan nicknames, such as "StrokeBob", have been used in-universe for the same reason.
• Follow the Leader: AI Sponge's popularity led to copycat streams that use the same premise but with characters from other cartoons such as The Simpsons or Family Guy instead (the latter being known as AI Peter and becoming the second most successful series of its type behind AI Sponge itself), which were less prone to copyright takedowns. These streams also often have one character talk in an unusually loud voice, such as Chris Griffin ("Loudris"), to emulate Loudward.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Due to Paramount taking down any fully archived streams they can find and YouTube not archiving any streams that go over 12 hours, the most you're gonna find outside of livestreams are individual clips or compilations. With custom voices removed from Uberduck's website, the stream came to an end on July 25, 2023, leaving said clips and compilations as the only material in existence from the original stream. Multiple attempts have been made at continuing or recreating the stream, however, with AI Sponge Rebooted being the most successful one.
• Screwed by the Lawyers:
  • As the owner of the SpongeBob SquarePants IP, Paramount has been playing a game of cat and mouse with the streamers of AI Sponge since early June 2023, and all efforts at changing the music or disabling donations have not stopped Paramount.
  • The reason for the stream's permanent takedown subverts this; it mostly stemmed from Uberduck AI taking down any user-trained and copyrighted voices, which was allegedly in support of the 2023 actors' strike. One of the factors behind the strike was many voice actors expressing concerns about being replaced with AI.
