Tear Jerker / XCOM: The Third War

• The reaction of the heroes of RWBY when they see the ruins of Beacon. Seeing their home completely destroyed clearly has an effect on them.
• In Chapter 6, Darkness briefly talks with Tucker and Caboose while trying to use a vending machine. During the talk, Tucker and Caboose reference Church's death, which Caboose doesn't seemed bothered by, since Church always comes back from dying. Tucker doubts this, but asks Darkness not to tell Caboose that, because Tucker doesn't want to make Caboose sad.
  • What makes it worse? Season 15 of Red vs. Blue confirms that Church is gone for good, and he won't be coming back.
• Also in Chapter 6, the casual tone that Zhang has when he notes how many people XCOM has lost. It really drives home how grand a toll the war against ADVENT has taken on mankind.
