- The moment where both Kiff and Barry are about to turn into stones. Both are trying so hard in order to make sure that even if they are turned into stones, they are at least stuck together as unmovable stones. Thankfully this act of friendship breaks the curse on not just them but their whole class.
- Frankly, the idea of the curse in general. Because of an argument between two giants who were friends, anyone group who comes within the valley are cursed to argue and be spiteful to one another until they turn their backs and turn into stone just like the giants did.
