- In Morton Koopa Sr., Morton's dad abandons Morton for the second time, and Lemmy comforts him.
- In The Heist, Ludwig sadly tells Larry about the airship crash that Bowser and Peach were in, and told him that they couldn't recover Peach's body. When hearing this, Larry gets sad and upset when his siblings kept that a secret from him and they start to feel sorry and guilty.
- Ludwig finding the decomposed remains of his biological mother Sophia Eisenhower, which provides the page image as well. And this is only after he has realized that his biological father turned out to be a deranged lunatic, who also told him that his mother was killed by troops that had gone rouge and that his deceased siblings were all still-born, when in reality he had all of them murdered.
- In Ludwig's Dilemma (2/2), when Bowser gets his chest incinerated by King Johann XVII, he then passes out for two brief moments. This gave us a sense that Bowser could have died. He is thankfully revived thanks to the Green Star's powers, but it's also sad in the sense that Bowser got injured by trying to protect Ludwig from Johann.
- In ‘’Wendy Vs Camilla’’, Camilla decides to go a new low and steal everything from Wendy’s room just because she can’t have Travis. And just to further rub salt in the wound, Camilla then decides to harass Wendy at Goomburger just because she got grounded.
