• Ms. Maria getting fired after having a heart-to-heart with Julie, because Principal Durani considers her at fault for Julie cheating on her PSATs.
• Kit's letter from her birth parents getting destroyed due to the sprinklers going off, just as Kit had decided to read it. Her breakdown is truly heartbreaking.
• Kit's reaction to the contents of the letter, which Jax had saved on his phone. Scarlett has to read most of it (even though she's been losing her voice since the end of the previous episode) because Kit is crying too much to be able to read aloud.
