The knights ask nothing in return for their love
Fragaria Memories is a multimedia project made by Sanrio.
Fragaria World is a world full of innocence, love, and friendship.
A world inhabited by fairies, built by the Strawberry King after he came from “somewhere”. It is made up of three continents (red, blue and black) known as The Continent of Purity, The Continent of Love, and The Continent of Friendship.
One day, a mysterious presence “Seeds” threatens the land. As anxiety grows, the Knights of Fragaria of each of the three continents, started to act independently.
The project was first revealed on September 2023.
Fragaria Memories contains examples of:
- Cast Full of Pretty Boys: The cast consists entirely of attractive boys with designs based on various Sanrio mascots. As of yet, there have been no female characters revealed to be a part of the cast.
- Idol Singer: Being a mixed media project, the series releases 3D lives of the boys singing their image songs in an idol-esque fashion.
- Non-Standard Character Design: The entire cast is designed and drawn by different artists, meaning no two designs are the same.
- Spiritual Successor: Could be seen as one to Sanrio Danshi, due to being male character-centric franchises about boys associated with Sanrio characters and aimed at a female audience. Aside from that, the franchises are quite different, however.
