"A New Age of Blue Sky is coming."
— Tagline from the poster on Deviantart
Once upon a time, after many Ice Age films (minus Collision Course), there was a kingdom that lived in peace, believing they have nothing to fear. But lurking in the shadows was a great and terrible evil. However, some of us don't get the happily ever after we deserved. Cause it's not that kind of a kingdom... and this ain't that kind of a story. Equestria Girls: Nimona and the Eternal Warriors takes all the films from former animation company Blue Sky Studios and blends it's humor from Annapurna's animation side like Sausage Party and Missing Link to make an unique but unexpected story inspired by the Netflix/Annapurna film based on the girls from My Little Pony and the boys from Ed, Edd n Eddy on an crossover adventure that's, unlike the Ed-Chronicles, ain't much of a fairy tale when it comes to knights, squires, nemesis, monsters, science and mayhem around the quirky but weird humor of Blue Sky Studios.

Equestria Girls: Nimona and the Eternal Warriors is a science fantasy adventure crossover comedy story loosely based on the Netflix/Annapurna film Nimona in which is based on the graphic novel of the same name by ND Stevenson. Inspired by the works of Blue Sky Studios, the fanfic follows the human mane 7 of My Little Pony: Equestria Girls (Sunset Shimmer and her friends aka the Rainbooms) helping an framed commoner knight by the name of Ballister Boldheart who has been accused of murder on the queen of the Wedge Kingdom (named after Ice Age director Chris Wedge). To clear their names, Ed, Double D and Eddy, will help the girls clear his name with their smart, kind, and quite sophisticated "sister" Nimona, an teenage shapeshifter who wants to be a sidekick to Ballister to not get bord and to cause chaos over the kingdom while dealing with a new threat interfering their quest to find the real murder of the kingdom.

Developed from B-Master Animation and Kirby Star Studios, the world's style sets within the tone from youtuber Daniel Lawrence around his crossover series "Adventures of Powerpuff Girls Z".

Tropes that apply to "Equestria Girls: Nimona and the Eternal Warriors":

  • Fusion Fic: The world's history is set after Ice Age: Continental Drift and contains loads of Blue Sky references including the iconic Scrat's acorn.
  • Shout-Out: Unlike the book and the film of Nimona, the Kingdom is now named after Chris Wedge who is the founder of Blue Sky Studios and director of Ice Age, Robots, Epic, and the upcoming Annapurna film Foo.
