Ace Attorney: The Alternative Timeline is a Ace Attorney web series made in objection.lol by ice-cold Kremit.
Set in a timeline very different to the original, it stars Franziska von Karma in the place of Phoenix Wright and her father Manfred in the place of Mia Fey.

This series contains examples of:
- Adaptational Heroism: Manfred von Karma is a genuinely good-hearted person who cares about his daughter and Maya and has investigated DL-6 to bring the truth about it to light; a far cry from his sociopathic canon self who cares for no one and did all matter of illegal methods to win his trials.
- Adaptational Nice Guy:
- Franziska, as a result of taking Phoenix's place is much nicer than her canon counterpart, not angrily whipping people or calling them foolish fools.
- Adaptation Personality Change: Miles Edgeworth is rather timid and shy, in contrast to his rather cocky main series self.
- Adaptation Relationship Overhaul:
- Franziska and Larry are childhood friend here, and Franziska has a level of fondness for Larry. In canon, they both met in the events of Bridge to the Turnabout and Franziska doesn't care for Larry in the least.
- Maya Fey and Manfred von Karma have no particular relationship in canon, and what little they did have had both of them not caring about the other. Here, they're good friends thanks to Manfred's investigations about DL-6.
- Dies Differently in Adaptation:
- Mia Fey died three years prior to the events of Turnabout Sisters in now as of yet unspecified circumstances.
- Manfred von Karma is murdered by Redd White instead of dying via the death penalty.
