Yugo engages in a difficult battle against the Security forces of City. Using Goyo monsters, Duel Chaser 227 is able to take control of his destroyed monsters, but Yugo comes back with Clear Wing Synchro Dragon and turns that strategy back on him to win. The head of security, Jean-Michel Roger, watches the battle predicting moves and arranges the capture of Yugo from afar, but Yugo escapes with Yuzu.
In the Commons the next morning, Yuya, Serena, Sawatari and Reira appear, but are quickly accosted by Security, mistaken Yuya and Serena for Yugo and Yuzu. Yuya tries to reason with them, but Sawatari and Serena challenge them to a duel.

- Chess Master: Roger shows himself to be one being able to predict Yugo and the Duel Chaser's moves.
- Foreshadowing: The reveal of the City's behavior was foreshadowed by how the Commons enjoyed the duel just as much as the Tops.
