Cell Block
Sikowitz challenges Tori and the gang to see who can go the longest without using electronic devices, which proves to be a challenge. Then when he changes it to boys vs. girls, tension soon rises.
Tropes:
- Ambiguous Situation: Since the boys are never confronted about the little girl, we never find out if they actually sent her to get the girls to use their phones. The girl never even knew of the boys to begin with.
- Bittersweet Ending: For the girls anyway. They're disappointed that they lost the bet, but the episode ends with all 3 of them on their phones laughing at funny videos together, so their lament doesn't last too long.
- Exact Words: Sikowitz tells the gang, "if you want your phones, take them." The girls instantly get to theirs, but the boys keep theirs off.
- Feud Episode: Between Tori and her friends throughout the second half of the episode, after Sikowitz alters the contest into a Girls vs. Boys Plot.
- Girls vs. Boys Plot: The second half of the episode becomes this.
- Inside Job: Sikowitz admits he colluded with the boys to help them win the bet, his reasoning being that once it became a "boys vs girls" challenge, he had to side with his home team.
- The Mole: Invoked; Tori assumes the lost little girl was sent by the boys to trick her into using her phone to lose the bet to the boys, but the girl has never heard of the boys nor the contest.
- Schmuck Bait: The lost girl who shows up at the Vega house; Tori assumes the boys sent her to entice her into using her devices so they can win. The girl never heard of the boys, nor the contest, to begin with.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Whatever became of that poor lost girl?
