Chapter 1: Vainqueur the Dragon
Vainqueur wakes up from hibernation to find a human's taking a rapier from his hoard. Vainqueur finds out the thief's name (Victor) and motivation: he took a quest from the guildhall to recover the rapier, hoping for levels and Perks. Vainqueur asks what "levels" are, prompting a short explanation of the class system from Victor, which leads to Vainqueur gaining a level and Perk himself. Vainqueur makes Victor take him to the guildhall so he can see the quest that brought Victor to his lair, and makes Victor his new minion.
